"daily dOOdle" weekly round-up.

I saw a post on Tim's post about a designer. This guy makes modern band flyers  based around swedish design. I really liked some of the hardcore ones. My lame attempt at swede design.

My favorite little wine glass. It's the last survivor. I have broken every last one of my glasses. Even my grandmother's crystal. This one was tiny and had the silvery frost on the rim and smoky fade. I found it at a thrift shop in Idaho. Boo.

Krusty typography. I love letter writing, but my hands are a bit spazzy, so I gotta do it Krusty style. This was a design for my banner in my Etsy shop.

Ryan's moms' hairpins. We went to Idaho for his grandma's funeral (rip Marilyn, you cute lady) and I was snooping through the cabinets for some hand lotion. These pins reminded me of my mom's and her big ol' spiky rollers.

A weird, rubbery rabbit toy, I found at the Piehl's. They have a cardboard box of toys for the grandkids, I think.

Some sort of beaded doll I found at Whitney's. She's got lots of funky stuff to draw in her trailer by the tracks.

Valentine's' day. Not a huge proponent but I thought this little piggy bank was sort of suiting, I guess because of the heart shaped eyes and...

...heart shaped butthole.

"daily dOOdle" weekly round-up.

Johnny Lydon's birthday. Born in London, 1954. His bday is actually on Jan. 1st, I'm just a day late. He is quoted as being incredibly shy as a child and would poop his pants a lot.

My doodle version of the classic argyle.

The death of Karen Carpenter (possibly the 4th) in 1983.  She was a drummer of exceptional skill, but is mostly know for her vocal ballads. She suffered from anorexia nervosa, but it was heart failure that killed her. She left us all too soon. I made a 2 color print of her, available in my Etsy shop

My daily morning of caffinated sludge.

Don Cornelius, the creator of Soul Train. He shot himself on Feb. 1st, possibly because he was suffering from dementia. Godspeed, Don. Souuul traaain!!

Chicken wings, an ode to Super Bowl Sunday, which I care nothing for. I never used to eat these things because I thought they were weird.  But the boyfriend likes to make them and then I eat them.

Just a doodle of boxes It was organic in nature and my pen just kept making lines and connecting them.

"daily dOOdle" weekly round-up.

A possible design for a screen printed wine bag. It will be 2 color with lots of red.  I also drink the crap outta of this stuff.

Op art chevron pattern.

Old school vans style checkered pattern. Maybe on a scarf?

My goggles. My stinky, grimy, scratched up goggles.

Is it op art week? A target-like design. Targets always look good on t shirts.

A thank you to all that helped me reach over 500 "likes" on facebook.

Yes, I skipped a day. It was dumping that day and I went snowboarding and then I was very tired. This was a entry to a coloring book contest for Doodler's Anonymous. I still haven't heard back, maybe it wasn't picked. But I think it's super cool. It's a 2ft. toy that moves, roars and blinks with lights. Again, thanks to Kendall and her boys for having awesome toys to draw.
